Welcome to the new addition to Popular Media! I am proud to officially launch my new Blog. As mentioned in my announcement video the Popular Media blog will be showcasing behind the scenes of some of my work as a hobbyist (my professional work is always confidential and won’t be featured in this blog). However, you can see the final results of my professional work on other pages on this website. In the Popular Media Blog, I am looking forward to sharing a range of audio, video & motion graphic techniques with you.
The first venture into this project is to create a teaser trailer video of my website to launch the return of Popular Media properly. This will be a motion graphics focused project that will involve lots of animation, compositing work and 3D camera work which will all be done in the advanced motion graphics software known as After Effects.
The title of this first blog project will be ‘The Popular Media Website Experience’. In the next couple of days, I will be creating the first blog post on this outlining everything I need to do to ensure that this motion graphics video will be a success.
I have lots of ideas that I can cover in the Popular Media blog but I would also love to get some of you guys involved, so if you have any audio/video styles & techniques that you would like to see featured put them in the comments. Alternatively, if you would love to get some hands-on experience in these skills I also teach everything from production and post-production whether you’re a beginner to an advanced level I always believe that there is always something new to learn and I’d love to share that with you. It is why filmmaking is so exciting you have to experience it to believe it.
